In our media lesson today Mr Henton taught us about all the different people involved in the process of Filming media professionally. As I am new to media my knowledge of the involvement of film production was fairly restricted and I learnt alot of new things about film production during the lesson. Here are just some of the new names and jobs I learnt about today.
The Grip - This persons job is to move equipment around set and build things that our needed such as scaffolding or trolleys etc.
Art Director - The art director runs and directs his lowers such as the set designers and the graphic artists.
The Boom Operator - This persons job is to hold a big microphone over scenes in order to catch clearer audio. (Below)
